My son was recently to a Urologist. They stated that one of his testicles was not there. Upon an ultrasound they said that it has moved up into the stomach. This doctor left us with no feeling of competency and stated that they would have to do surgery on the possibility it was cancerous. They also said that the testicle was in atrophy state. He is 24 yrs old and autistic, what are your thoughts?
I'm truly sorry to hear about your son's condition. If you aren't satisfied with the doctor's prognosis then I would definitely recommend getting a second opinion.

The doctor may be correct but it doesn't hurt to get additional advice from another physician.
I hope everything works out for you and your son!
