Band-AidsPenis exercises, when performed properly, are a proven and effective way to strengthen, enlarge and improve the overall health of the penis. The penis however, is a sensitive organ and it is very important to exercise caution and use good judgment when performing these types of techniques. There is a tendency among men to become overly enthusiastic and over do penis exercises which can lead to injury. Here are some common signs that are seen when adequate penis exercise safety is not followed.

Penis Blisters

Blisters can form on the penis as a result of using too much pressure when performing an exercise. While some penis exercises do require a certain amount of applied pressure, this should never be enough to cause the skin to blister. If blisters begin to form you should stop your exercises for a few days and give your penis time to heal. Once it has completely healed you can continue your training but be sure to reduce the amount of pressure used in your routine.

Bruised Penis

Broken capillaries in the penis causing slight bruising may also be seen when too much pressure or force is used during an exercise. Again, give your penis time to recuperate and make sure to lessen the amount of force used when you resume your training.

Penis Sores

Sores that develop on the penis from exercising are usually the result of over stretching. In most instances they form because the penis has been stretched too far or held in an extended position for too long a period of time. Discontinuing exercises for a few days and reducing the amount of stretch performed when doing these techniques will prevent this from happening in the future.

Cuts and Scratches

Scratch wounds on the penis often occur as a result of poorly groomed fingernails. Since most penis exercises require the penis to be held and manipulated, it is vitally important to keep your fingernails trimmed and short to avoid scratching the skin.

Chaffed Skin

Chaffing is an irritation of the skin that is the direct result of friction. Since a certain amount of rubbing is necessary while doing exercises, it is often helpful to use a lubricant such as baby oil when performing penis exercises that generate a large amount of friction.

The conditions noted above are some of the most common side effects experienced when proper safety measures are not followed. They can be avoided if you make sure not to over do the exercising and give the penis enough time to rest. A minimum of two full days of recuperation a week is recommended. You can also save yourself a lot of trouble by choosing an exercise program from a trusted authority who provides 24/7 support and guidance.
