As the popularity of penis enlargement devices grows, so too do the number of inquiries we receive from men looking for more information about them. While not the most common question regarding penis extenders, one that does come up from time to time is "how do you build such a device?" Just recently in fact, we received a communication from a person who had actually gone the extra step and created one from scratch - you can see the final product pictured right. Although we do appreciate the creativity this person showed in making his device, sometimes when you are dealing with something as sensitive as the penis it just makes more sense to go with a professionally made device.
Granted, penis extenders are not Swiss watches, but they still qualify as precision instruments in their own way. And while you don't need to be a rocket scientist to fabricate one, that still doesn't mean that you should attempt it just because you think you know how they work.
One of the main components of penis extenders are the telescopic rods that allow the device to match the penis length and expand to stretch it. These rods certainly qualify as specialty items and are not widely available for purchase. Since they are a key part of the device, it is very important to make sure they are working properly. If home fabricated rods do not exert traction correctly or don't work as a pair, then there is a good chance that you will not see the gains you would like or worse, inflict serious damage.
Another part of penis extenders that are vitally important to their use are the plastic components. One such part, the ring that forms the base of the device, is specifically designed to sit comfortably against the pubic bone. Similarly, the silicone noose straps that are often used in professional grade devices help to hold the penis in place. Along with these straps are gel bands that are worn on the glans in order to reduce the chances of slippage. These types of parts cannot simply be replaced by household items which could lead to chaffing of the penis or the cutting off of blood circulation.
Keep in mind, one of the most important aspects about wearing a penis stretching devices is comfortability. While the construction of a home-made device may cost less than buying one from a manufacturer, if it is uncomfortable to wear or keeps falling off then what good is it? Furthermore, if you don't use the device consistently but instead have to take it off every 20 minutes because the springs are not fitting properly or a rod becomes loose, you are basically wasting your time.
If you have the skills necessary to create a penis extender of your own, then you certainly should feel proud. But if you're serious about using one for penis enlargement then you're probably better off saving your time and avoiding possible injury by purchasing a professional grade device.
