Results from the latest scientific study into the effectiveness of penile enlargement devices have now been compiled and published online with the Journal of Sexual Medicine. The purpose of this study was to measure the changes in flaccid and stretched penile lengths attributed to using a penis stretching device over a 3 month period of use. Once again researchers have proven conclusively that penile extender devices do in fact increase size and provide a viable method for those men interested in naturally enlarging the size of their penises.
This study was performed using 23 test subjects each of whom were concerned with having a short penis size. At the onset of the study, measurements were taken of both the flaccid (non-erect) and stretched penis as well as overall penile circumference (thickness). Patients were then instructed to wear the penis extender device for 4-6 hours per day for the first 2 weeks and then 9 hours per day until the end of the third month. They were also trained in the proper use of the device which included increasing the amount of traction force applied in predetermined intervals.
At the end of the first and third months, the length and circumference of the patients penises were measured and compared against the starting measurements.
Penis Extender Study Results
"Twenty-three cases with a mean age of 26.5 ± 8.1 years entered the study. The mean flaccid penile length increased from 8.8 ± 1.2 cm to 10.1 ± 1.2 cm and 10.5 ± 1.2 cm, respectively, in the first and third months of follow-up, which was statistically significant (P < 0.05). Mean stretched penile length also significantly increased from 11.5 ± 1.0 cm to, respectively, 12.4 ± 1.3 cm and 13.2 ± 1.4 cm during the first and second follow-up (P < 0.05). No significant difference was found regarding proximal penile girth. However, it was not the same regarding the circumference of the glans penis (9.3 ± 0.86 cm vs. 8.8 ± 0.66 cm, P < 0.05)."

Conclusion
"Our findings supported the efficacy of the device in increasing penile length. Our result also suggested the possibility of glans penis girth enhancement using penile extender. Performing more studies is recommended."

The Importance of Scientific Validation
For many, the results of this study and numerous other clinical trials (see Penis Extender Studies and Research) may be of little overall importance. Those using this particular technique already know just how effective these devices are at increasing penis size, they don't need a scientific study to tell them what they can see with their very own eyes.
That being said, this type of research does prove an important milestone in the mainstream conception of natural penis enlargement. For years penis enlargement has suffered under a stigma of skepticism and even ridicule. "Experts" claiming it impossible to increase the size of the penis, now faced with hard scientific evidence to the contrary, will undoubtedly shift their argument to the necessity of such techniques. I expect we'll hear things such as "Why does a man need a bigger penis anyway? Size doesn't really matter..."
True, everyone is allowed their own opinion when it comes to the importance of penis size. This however does not give those of differing opinions the right to belittle the beliefs of others. I believe penis size is important, I KNOW exactly how much my life has changed since enlarging my own.
