A healthy, abundant volume of ejaculate plays an important role in stimulating male pleasure. The greater the amount of fluid available for each orgasm, the longer each ejaculatory contraction takes and the stronger and more intense each contraction becomes. While this explains the reason why more and more men are using semen enhancement products, we should not overlook the sexual health benefits that these supplements provide.
The male sexual system consists of a complex relationship between many interacting parts. In order to function properly, each component must be in good working order. Semen enhancers help to improve the overall dynamic by enhancing each of the following vital parts of the male reproductive system:
Testicles, Testes
The testicles are the two oval shaped glands located in the scrotum that produce sperm and testosterone. Each testis contains a kilometer of ducts called the seminiferous tubules. These are the organs which generate sperm.
Epididymis
The epididymis is a long, convoluted tube that lies on the posterior aspect of each testicle connecting it to the vas deferens. It serves as a holding area where sperm produced by the testis matures. Sperm remains here until ejaculation.
Vas Deferens
The vas deferens are the main ducts (also called spermatic ducts) through which semen is carried from the epididymis to the ejaculatory ducts.
Ejaculatory Ducts
The ejaculatory ducts are two hollow tubes which open into the urethra about midway through the prostate gland. Their function is to mix sperm with fluids secreted by the seminal vesicles and to transport these substances to the prostate.
Seminal Vesicles
The seminal vesicles are a pair of tube-like glands located behind and below the urinary bladder. They produce a large portion of the fluid that becomes semen (almost 70%). Semen activates and protects sperm after it has left the penis during ejaculation.
Prostate Gland
The prostate gland is an organ that surrounds the urethra at the base of the bladder. It is comprised of two parts; one muscular and one glandular. The muscular part controls the release of urine by squeezing shut the urethral duct. This prevents urine from mixing with semen and disturbing the pH balance required by sperm. The glandular part produces an alkaline fluid which is a major component of semen. This milky substance enhances the motility and fertility of the sperm.
Enhancing semen production plays an important part in both increasing pleasure and improving male sexual health. Semen volumizers accomplish both of these goals. Keep in mind however that not all supplements are created equal. Be sure to choose a reputable company with pharmaceutical grade laboratories in accordance with cGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices). For some suggestions on this, be sure to view the semen volumizer comparisons or read some user-contributed comments.
