Penis Extender Phase II Study Completed
Posted by PRS on December 16th, 2008
A Phase II Prospective Study regarding the effectiveness of penis extender devices has been completed and the results published in the Journal of Sexual Medicine. Researchers conducted this test to confirm findings obtained from previous pilot studies suggesting that tension forces exerted by penis extenders helped reduce the curvature associated with Peyronie's disease. Results are consistent with earlier trials in exhibiting improvements in both straightening of the penis as well as increasing penile size.

Study Confirms Penis Extender Effectiveness
Posted by PRS on July 17th, 2008
A pilot study recently published in the Journal of Sexual Medicine has proven the validity of penile traction for both the treatment of penile curvature and penis size enlargement. The aim of the study was to evaluate prolonged external penile traction as a nonsurgical therapy for Peyronie's Disease, a fibrotic disorder resulting in an abnormal curve in the penis. Preliminary results indicate that not only do penis extenders effectively straighten the penis, the use of such devices also results in a notable increase in both the thickness and length of the penis itself.

Natural Lateral Penis Leaning
Posted by PRS on August 30th, 2007
Recently a reader inquired about natural lateral leaning of the penis and the effect that traction devices would have on such a condition. While mechanical devices have shown to be greatly effective at correcting the penile retraction that results from peyronie's disease, Mike's question addressed an entirely different issue completely. That is, will such devices help to make the penis point more straightly forward when it's natural inclination is to lean left or rightwards?

Naturally Straightening A Curved Penis
Posted by PRS on March 9th, 2007
Since the penis is never perfectly straight, all men notice somewhat of a curve in it's regular shape during an erection. The extent of this curve varies from one man to the next, with most experiencing only a moderate curving.
While a small percentage of men exhibit extreme curvature which may possibly require surgery, the great majority can use non-medical techniques to naturally straighten erections.

Surgical Treatment for Peyronies Disease
Posted by PRS on February 19th, 2007
Peyronie's disease, more commonly known as penile curvature, is a condition characterized by an abnormal or exaggerated bend in the penis. While there are surgical solutions to correct this condition, most notably the "Nesbit Procedure", many men are unwilling to undergo this type of treatment due to a shortening of the penis length that generally accompanies it. One of the newer and more advanced surgical methods for treating this condition is through the use of penile tissue grafts.
