The short answer to this question is no, masturbation does not affect penis size. The question itself often arises out of a misunderstanding about penis enlargement exercises. While exercises and masturbation both involve the physical stimulation of the penis, this is where any similarity ends. In this article I'll explain why pleasuring yourself and performing penis exercises are two completely different and unrelated activities.</p>
<h2 class="title">Masturbation Is For Pleasure, Penis Exercises Are Not</h2>
<p>The first significant difference between masturbation and penis exercises lies in the actual intended purpose of both. Masturbating is done for the sole reason of bringing pleasure. Although there's absolutely nothing wrong with making yourself feel good, the intent is not to make your penis larger.</p>
<p>Penis exercises on the other hand are specifically designed to increase the length and thickness of the penis. When performed correctly these targeted stretching and massaging techniques will promote growth. The stimulation that occurs, however, is not meant to generate pleasure.</p>

<p>The final important distinction between masturbating and exercising the penis lies in the completion of each activity. The end of a masturbation session usually culminates in ejaculation. I personally believe that the use of such sweeping generalizations does not accurately reflect the true nature of natural penis enlargement.</p>
<h2 class="title">So Called "External Penis Enlargement"</h2>
<p>Those who support this manner of division often cite 3 popular "external" methods; Extender Devices, Vacuum Pumps and Penis Exercises.</p>
<p><strong>Penis Extender Devices</strong></p>
<p>Penis extenders function on a principal similar to that used in orthopedic surgery. By applying traction force (stretching / tension) to the penis, the cells within begin to divide and multiply under direct stimulation. The resulting increase in tissue mass is reflected in a size increase in both thickness and length.</p>
<p><strong>Penis Pumps</strong></p>
<p>Penis pumps work by creating a vacuum around the penis which causes the tissues to expand and blood flow to accelerate. This results in a temporary increase in the size of the penis.</p>
<p><strong>Penis Exercises</strong></p>
<p>Stretching and massaging the penis through a series of targeted exercises is yet another form of penis enlargement. The main difference between this method and those mentioned above is that penis exercises require manual stimulation and make no use of external equipment.</p>
<h2 class="title">"Internal Penis Enlargement"</h2>
<p>On the other end of the spectrum we have what some would call "internal" penis enlargement. This consists primarily of penis enhancement pills and patches.</p>
<p><strong>Enhancement Supplements</strong></p>
<p>Penis enhancing supplements are generally formulated from herbal extracts and various other natural ingredients. They are designed to improve erection hardness and boost sexual stamina by increasing blood flow to the genitals. While the majority of supplements come in capsule or tablet form, there are some products such as penis patches which work by administering the dosage through the skin directly into the blood stream. Most reputable distributors supply a penis exercise program to be used in conjunction with the supplement in order to achieve maximum results.</p>
<h2 class="title">Is There Really A Distinction?</h2>
<p>One could argue that the first 3 methods adhere to an "external" method of enlargement since they each require physical interaction with the penis. This reasoning however is somewhat dismissive of the actual internal mechanisms at work. With the exception of penis pumps that only produce short-lived results, these treatments actually impact growth at the cellular level. In my mind this qualifies as internal penis enlargement as much as external.</p>
<p>Similarly, the supposed "internal" classification of penis pills and patches neglects to mention the actual external stimulation required for such systems to be effective. These supplements can improve penile functioning and performance but true growth will not occur without some form of physical manipulation. As I mentioned previously, this is the reason why most "enhancement" products are coupled with penis exercise routines. They may certainly enhance your gains but taken by themselves they will not produce much in the way of permanent enlargement.</p>
<p>I do realize that this information may be somewhat inconsequential to those men interested in penis enlargement. Most men are only concerned with the end results and not the particular vehicle chosen to achieve that end. As long as it works right?</p>
<p>While I generally echo that sentiment, I still feel it's important to clearly understand the methodologies behind the practice of penis enlargement. There's too much misinformation online and it's essential that we keep the facts straight.</p>

There are now thousands of websites devoted specifically to the practice. While many of the programs available today differ in style, most use some variant of the same techniques such as kegels, jelqing and various other stretching methods. One thing, however, that seems to be universally accepted is the importance of refraining from ejaculation for a period of time during the training.</p>
<p>It's not difficult for most men to understand why they should not ejaculate when performing an enlargement routine. While some exercises are performed when the penis is flaccid, the majority require an erect or semi-erect state to be effective. If you reach orgasm during a routine your penis will (usually) go limp and affect your ability to continue.</p>
<p>For many programs there is also a "3 hour window" where it is recommended that you abstain from ejaculation. While this suggested time period varies from one program to the next, the majority (if not all) agree that ejaculating prior to, and following a workout, must be avoided.</p>
<p>The main reason for this rule is to prevent the penile tissues from becoming exhausted. If you ejaculate too soon before a session, the penis will not be energetic enough to perform many of the strenuous routines. This will hinder the effectiveness of advanced techniques, such as girth-work, which require a consistently high level of erection.</p>
<p>Abstaining from ejaculation after a penis workout is also important for proper healing and recovery. Following the "warm-down" at the end of a routine, the penis is often highly engorged with blood and extremely sensitive. The blood flowing within the penis nourishes the tissues and allows the healing and repairing process to continue. Ejaculating too soon afterward will prematurely stop the increased blood flow and rapidly dissipate the stored energy. In essence, recovery will take place in a less than desirable state.</p>
<p>That being said, I do not subscribe to a philosophy that sacrifices personal happiness for the sake of maximizing gains. If you are in a sexual relationship you have an obligation to your partner and abstaining from sex for extended periods of time may not be possible. A shorter time frame, such as 30-60 minutes before and after your workouts, is much more feasible for most.</p>
<p>Ultimately the reason for practicing natural penis enlargement is to improve the overall sexual experience for both partners. Denying yourself the pleasure that comes from great sex is not, in my opinion, a fair trade for somewhat faster penis growth.</p>

There are however certain things that all men considering penis enlargement should understand and some common mistakes that should be avoided.</p>
<p>Firstly, anyone interested in making their penis larger should know that it takes both effort and patience to be successful. Naturally, no one wants to hear that it may take weeks and perhaps months before you see results. It's certainly difficult to remain motivated when day after day you are working towards a goal and the only thing you have to show for your effort is a slightly sore penis.</p>
<p>In reality this is no different then going to the gym on a regular basis and working out. The "no pain, no gain" factor comes in to play and can only be viewed as a positive improvement. With this in mind, persistence in the efforts to enlarge your penis will pay off and results will come in time. The delicate tissues that the penis is comprised of require time to expand and most people will experience both growth spurts and plateaus.</p>

Many beginners wrongly believe that one workout session a day is not enough and start to add additional daily sessions. <p><em>i started doing exercises on my penis for about 2 weeks. i did regular stretches that lasted 30 seconds. i used the v-stretch and bundle stretches a few times. I also jelqed. i gained about half a inch in those 2 weeks. after i stopped for about a week i noticed it was going back down to the size it was before i started the exercises. i was wondering why this happened. i heard if you over do the exercises something like this would happen. i think i over did it with the jelqing.</em></p>

<p>I don't believe that you over did it, instead I feel that you didn't give it enough time. Penis exercises are a very specialized form of exercise. You are training a part of the body that most men don't so it does take some extra effort.</p>
<p>To be honest with you, 2 weeks is not a very long time to be practicing these exercises. If you stop your training too soon then you are likely to lose the gains you have made. After your body becomes more accustomed to the exercises it will have better retention and you will find that you do not lose the extra size you created.</p>
<p>Another thing that helps is to use supplements during your training. I'm not sure if you were just doing exercises or whether you were taking any herbals along with it, but I always recommend using a combination of the two. Quality supplements help to increase blood flow to the region which keeps the penis in a more active state. This means that you are stimulating your penis even while you are not exercising it and can help to solidify any gains that you make. <p><strong>Penis Blisters</strong></p>
<p>Blisters can form on the penis as a result of using too much pressure when performing an exercise. <p><strong>Penis Jelqing Methods</strong></p>
<p>Jelqing is an enlargement technique that uses a milking action to improve the flow of blood to the penis and increase the total capacity of the erectile tissues (called the corpus cavernosa) to hold more blood. It is performed using an 'ok' grip with either one or both hands and is ultimately designed to stretch and drive more blood towards the tip of the penis.</p>
<p>Jelq Safety Tips:</p>
<ul>
<li>This exercise should be done while the penis is in a semi-erect state. It will not be effective if done in the fully erect state and can cause skin irritation if done while the penis is flaccid.</li>

<p><strong>Penis Stretching</strong></p>
<p>Penis stretching techniques are primarily geared towards increasing the shaft length and working the suspensory ligaments. While some people use weights to perform the stretch, it is far safer and equally as effective to simply use your hands.</p>
<p>Stretching Safety Tips:</p>
<ul>
<li>This method should only performed while the penis is in it's flaccid (soft) state. Attempting to stretch the penis while it is erect can result in irritation or even damage to the penis.</li>

<p>Kegel Safety Tips:</p>
<ul>
<li>In order for this exercise to be effective, make sure you are exercising the correct muscle. The PC muscle can be identified as the muscle that contracts when urination is stopped in mid-stream.</li>
<li>Do not over-perform this technique. Approximately 10 sets per day of this exercise (varying in contraction duration) is advisable.</li>
</ul>

In fact, statistics suggest that as many as 30 percent of all men experience premature ejaculation during regular sexual encounters. While not a life-threatening condition, a lack of ejaculatory control can interfere with the sexual and emotional well being of one or both partners and frequently has a strong negative impact on male confidence.</p>
<p>Since ejaculatory control is not innate in men but rather learned through practice and repetition, the fact is that most men <em>will</em> experience premature ejaculation at least once in their lifetime. A consistent recurrence of this condition, however, is not something to be dismissed lightly given the serious effect it can have on male confidence and emotional well being. Men who have experienced premature ejaculation in the past often look towards new sexual activities with apprehension and dread. This can lead to an endless cycle of depression, humiliation and despair.</p>
<p>The roots of premature ejaculation lie in both the physical and the psychological condition. Studies have shown that 90 percent or more of men who suffer from this condition have inherited it from parents or grandparents with a history of the dysfunction. On the physical level, this is a condition associated with a faster than normal neurological response in the pelvic muscles. Psychologically speaking, premature ejaculation is often the result of stress, depression, unrealistic expectations, or simply a general lack of confidence.</p>
