Taoist Teachings Regarding Ejaculation and the Prostate
Posted by PRS on December 20th, 2007
The physical function of the prostate gland is ejaculation. Through stimulation of the penis, the prostate swells with fluids. These fluids contain nutrients, hormones and energy (bioelectrical energy know as Chi). These are the substance of the semen that acts as a carrier for the sperm that is produced in the testicles.
An average male ejaculation produces approximately one tablespoon of semen. The extremes in this instance can represent almost five times this amount (with the help of herbal semen volumizers) or considerable less than a tablespoon (possibly only a few drops).
