The following five techniques are to be used in conjunction with the previous methods discussed in Part One of the Taoist Treatise on Methods of Testicle Stimulation and Semen Production. It is important to remember that the excerpts of this training are taken from ancient transcripts that were written during the Liang Dynasty in 502 A.D. Their purpose was to greatly increase a persons Chi (internal energy) and to physically transform them from weak to strong. After a continuous period of practice the results become obvious.

E. File (Tsuo)

Tsuo means to file or rub. In Tsuo, use the palms of the hands (palm facing palm) to sandwich the penis and rub until heat in generated. Do not rub the skin only. The method is used to massage the penis internally.

F. Hand Knife Kung (Shoou Dau Kung)

Use the edge of both hands to rub and file the top of the scrotum. There are two purposes. To clear obstruction at the base of the scrotum connecting the pelvis area and to strengthen the musculature at the base of the organ.

G. Slap (Pai) Hand Pat Kung (Shoou Pai Kung)

This exercise is to be practiced in the morning after urinating. When practicing, face east, your eyes half closed and stand with your legs a shoulder's width apart, knees slightly bent. Hold the root of the penis with your left hand and slap your scrotum with your right hand. Begin to lightly and gradually increase the intensity. After each slap, inhale, contract the anus, open your eyes and stare off at a distant point.

H. Turning The Pearl Kung (Joan Ju Kung)

Joan means to collect or to hold something together. In this exercise, hold both testicles in one hand and roll them around in a circle like two small balls then repeat with the other hand using the same number of repetitions. When circling the testicles, do not press them. Simply move them around in a circle in the palm of your hand.

As in all of the exercises in this and the previous article, it is important to concentrate on the exercise you are performing. Keep your mind on the exact spot you are working. It is this precise level of concentration that adds intensity and purpose to the practice. All are intended to be done slowly and willfully.

Jade Stem Training (Yuh Jing Kung) Penis Stimulation Training

Yuh means Jade and implies something precious, Jing means stem which implies the penis. Another way of describing this exercise is Herng Mor Shyng Kung. Herng means sideways, Mor means grindstone. When a cylindrical grindstone was used it was placed sideways on a flat surface to do the grinding.

The penis is a very sensitive organ. Stimulating it increases sexual desire and also semen production, they go hand-in-hand (not a pun). This training will help you get used to the stimulation and increase your endurance during intercourse. The following exercises are specific to penis training.

Hold the root of the penis. Inhale and draw in your abdomen and anus. Then, exhale and expand your abdomen and relax you anus. While you are exhaling, use your mind and gentle concentration to expand the penis. This training is intended to increase your mind's control over the penis.

#1. Swing (Shuai)

Shuai means to swing or to cast away. Stand with legs a shoulder's width apart and knees slightly bent. Use the first two fingers of the left hand to grab the root of the penis from the top and swing it from side to side. The motion should produce a light slapping motion from leg to leg. Repeat this swinging motion fifty times with each hand.

#2. Caress (Fuu)

Fuu means to touch or rub lightly with the hand. Hold the penis tightly with one hand with the head of the penis protruding. Use the palm and fingers of the opposite hand to caress and lightly rub the head of the penis in a circular motion. Repeat this motion 36 times, change hands and repeat another 36 repetitions.

#3. File (Tsuo)

Tsuo means to rub against each other. Sandwich the penis between both palms and rub your hands forward and backward 36 times.

It cannot be stressed enough the importance of complete concentration during the training period. After you have trained these methods for 100 days, you will have grasped the trick of leading your Chi (energy) to the groin at which time you may practice anywhere and anytime you wish.

After years of continuous training in both Kung Fu and Chi Kung, I can personally attest to their effectiveness and the positive transformation that will occur. It is the way to natural health and sexual enhancement.

A poem written Lu Yu, famous poet of the Southern Sung Dynasty (1131-1162), which described Da Mo, the creator of the "Yi Gin Ching" and his personal philosophy. It reads,

"Others are revolted, I am unmoved.
Gripped by desires, I am unmoved.
Hearing the wisdom of sages, I am unmoved.
I move only in my own way."

In our next chi kung related article we will be addressing Taoist wisdom concerning ejaculation and the prostate.

Although many variations of Taoist techniques have been practiced for thousands of years, the primary written documents were compiled in the Chi Kung (pronounced chee gung) training manual of the "Yi Gin Ching" (muscle tendon changing classic). The "Yi Gin Ching" training methods were developed 1,200 years ago by a Buddhist monk from India named Da Mo.

The legend has it that while traveling to China from India to spread the teachings of Buddhism, Da Mo found the monks in China in very poor physical condition. This not only prevented them from the arduous meditation that was required, but also left them prey to the bandits who roamed the countryside in search of easy victims.

The Indian monk went into seclusion and meditated facing a stone wall for the next 9 years. When he emerged, he developed and began teaching the "Yi Gin Ching" to the monks. These teachings were to become the foundation for Shaolin Kung Fu, both external and internal styles. Da Mo founded the first Shaolin Monastery in the Fu Quen province on top of the "Mountain of the 7 Lotus." During this time Buddhism flourished as did the practice of the many Shaolin styles of Kung Fu which included the "Five Animals Forms" and internal styles such as Tai Chi.

It is this profound treatise of Da Mo's "Yi Gin Ching" that provides the only written version of the sexual practices we will be examining. The primary difference between the Buddhist and Taoist approach to these methods is that the Buddhist method is one of mental stimulation called "Nei Dan." The training is accomplished through intense concentration and meditation.

The Taoist methods, which were considered to produce faster results, were called "Wai Dan." The Taoists use of physical manipulation and stimulation were also easier to comprehend and practice.

Testicle Stimulation is a method of increasing semen production through the physical manipulation of the sex organs. The methods are effective and easy to learn. In performing the following techniques make certain that if your hands are cold, to rub them together until they become warm. It is the cold that drains the energy from your body and saps your strength. This will have a negative effect on the practice.

The following techniques are used to increase semen production and strengthen the male sexual organs.

A. To Slip (Jeng) Dragon Pearl Finger Kung

Jeng means to get free by making an effort. In this exercise you simply use your fingers to gently grab and press the testicles and let them slide out of your grip. Pressing your fingertips against the testicles to hold them, use the thumb to circle each testicle several times and then let them slip out.

B. Palm Slip out Kung (Jaang Jeng Kung)

Use both hands to sandwich the testicles between the palms. Gently press the testicles and let them slip out. The "slipping out" motion is meant to stretch the testicles and its connecting fascia. Upon release, the build up of energy flows freely back to the source (testes). If you can picture your penis and testicles for what they are, muscles and hormone glands with connecting ligaments and tendons, the purpose becomes clear. All the body's muscles and tendons must be regularly stretched and strengthened or they will stagnate and lose their ability to function properly.

C. Dragon Pearl Palm Kung (Long Ju Jaang Kung)

This exercise is similar to the "Palm Slip Out" technique. The primary difference is that in this exercise you simply use both of your palms to sandwich and rub the testicles in a circular motion. Hold your hands horizontally, palm facing palm, with your testicles sandwiched between. Keep your penis on the side, out of the way, so you can circle easily.

D. Dragon Tendon Extending Chi Kung (Long Gin Shen Chi Kung)

Use your thumb and middle finger to hold the Vas Deferens (the tube which carries sperm from the testes). Rub the two fingers against each other, moving down the tube away from the root of the penis down to the testicles. This will clear the tube (vas deferens) of obstructions. The vas deferens is the tube that is pinched when performing a vasectomy that obscures the flow of semen. This exercise will promote a free flow.

In the article that follows we will describe the remaining five techniques that will complete the Taoist penis and testicle stimulation and enhancement procedures outlined in the "Yi Gin Ching."

In the previous article we discussed the philosophy and ideas behind the development of the Taoist techniques for strengthening and lengthening the penis and also methods for increasing the production of semen. For the ancient Taoists, these techniques were designed with the idea that a strong, hard penis (known as the "Jade Staff") and the increased production of semen was a means by which the monks could increase their internal energy (Chi). Increased penis size and fluid volume are a natural byproduct of these exercises in addition to greater sexual stamina and prowess.

Although the original written explanation of these practices can at times be very cryptic, we will attempt to provide you with a thorough breakdown of their uses. It is important to note that much of what you are about to learn has traditionally been handed down verbally in order to protect the secrets and keep them out of the hands of the masses. The original texts were written in a type of poem that makes them difficult for the novice to decipher.

The following is a thorough description of the proper use and as such, it cannot be condensed. Having studied and practiced these methods for many years, I can truthfully attest to their efficacy.

Each of the following practices will include the original verse and a practical explanation of its intended use.

#1. To Wash

"About Wash, use the herb water to wash twice every day. One purpose is the smooth circulation of blood and Chi (energy), one is for treating the skin."

Explanation: This means to soak the penis and testicles twice each day. This can be performed using a shallow bowl or submerged in a bath. The "herb" is the use of warm water to increase the flow of blood and Chi energy to the area. This will also prevent the degeneration of the skin tissue. You must use your mind or Yi (the Chinese word Yi means intention) to tighten and expand your penis, hold for several seconds then relax. Repeat this 9 times. Begin tightening gradually… over time, as you feel your strength increase you can increase the intensity and the repetitions to 18. It is the increased blood and energy flow that affects the penis size and the strength of the erection.

"About Nourish, training is completed and object is big and strong. In every war you will defeat others, this is the original duty. If you are afraid it has become lazy, or you have other worries, use the old vessel, nourish it sometimes."

This expresses the idea that you should always use warm water to stimulate the penis. This will keep it strong, big and healthy. After you have completed the training you may find it useful or necessary to do the exercise every once in a while. The "old vessel" has two meanings. One is the shallow bowl used to amerce and soak the penis and testicles, the other translation is a women's vagina. I believe the reference is to the bowl.

"About Nourish, it means to use warmth (warm water) to nourish it peacefully. Do not loosen and tighten suddenly. Must make it get used to the war, then you will not loose. Do this training for 100 days, the longer the better. Weak becomes strong, soft… tough, short… long, sick… healthy. End up a strong husband. Even wood stone iron hammer, how could I be scared? Use this to face the battle, there is no stronger general in the world. Use it to pick and gain the magic pearl easily, use it to pass down the generations, then 100 are all boys. I do not know if there is anything greater than this in heaven and earth."

This is the first stage known as 100 days of building the foundation. In this stage you learn how to increase the production of "essence" (semen). It was discovered that the most common way to increase essence (semen) production is through physical stimulation.

In the articles that will follow, we will examine the other nine techniques that are used to enhance, preserve, protect and strengthen the penis and testicles.

"It is the natural way… the way which you seek." – Lao Tse

The ancient Chinese Taoists realized 6,000 years ago that the reproductive process and the sexual glands were the source of life itself. The early Taoists believed that the collective sex glands could be used as a source of vitality or life force for their own bodies and developed methods for that purpose.

The basic text is the "Shu Nu Ching," or The Classic of the White Madame. It was written in the time of The Yellow Emperor and is based on the conversations with his two wives, one dark and one light. The unity of these three, the Black Madame, The White Madame and the Yellow Emperor was created as a symbol of the universal nature of Taoism. These conversations formed the basis about the relationship between sexuality and the physical world.

Throughout its 6,000 year history, the book was regarded as a priceless jewel of knowledge. For thousands of years most people were forbidden from reading it, since it contained genetic secrets. About 1,500 years ago, during the Sui Dynasty, the book mysteriously vanished. Fortunately, its name and contents were recorded in the pages of history. The book later reappeared in the Japanese Imperial Court about 100 years ago during the period of Meji Modernization.

When the Emperor Meji instituted a democratic form of government the general population urged the royal family to reveal the books secrets. The Chinese finally recovered the original copy from the Japanese Royal Family and reproduced it in many editions. During the 1,400 year disappearance, the Chinese became even more secretive about the contents of the Shu Nu Ching. The contents, only transferred orally, was revealed after performing elaborate rituals that insured secrecy. Even still, there was no guarantee that the information was revealed in its entirety.

The Shu Nu Ching was written in classical Chinese and vital information was hidden in its verses. If a person did not have the key, the treasure could not be opened. Not everyone was able to read or understand the books meaning. People have said that after following some of the techniques they have received a lifetime of benefits from what they have learned.

This is because the Ancient Taoists were not ethereal, abstract philosophers. They were extremely practical people who discarded a technique when it did not work and only developed and used techniques that were efficient and produced the desired results.

The specific methods that were used by these great philosophers will be thoroughly discussed in an upcoming article post.

Over many centuries the Chinese Culture has placed great importance on the attributes of certain animals. Such is the case with the Chinese calender featuring the months of the year represented by animals (pig, horse, monkey, dog etc.). It should not come as a surprise then that the sexual exercise covered in the preceding two articles also has its own "animal origin." The ancient Taoists referred to this specific technique as the "Deer Exercise."

Animal Origins

The Shaolin Monks were renowned for creating invincible fighting styles that mimicked the movements of ferocious predators such as the Tiger, Crane, Leopard, Snake and Eagle to name just a few. Centuries before the Taoist Monks became involved with the practice of martial arts, their teachings centered on health and longevity practices through the use of Qigong (Chi Gung), herbs, acupuncture and acupressure techniques. Naturally, they searched for characteristics in animals that showed instinctive habits and movements that would help prevent physical ailments in human beings.

Searching for immortality they looked to the Turtle which has one of the longest life spans of any animal on the planet. When they looked for an aid to digestion problems they found the Asian Crane which stands on one leg and circularly rubs its stomach with the other. This unique pose exerts pressure on internal organs in order to stimulate and strengthen the digestive system against a lethal diet of poisonous insects and amphibians.

In the quest to improve sexual functioning they chose the Deer (I bet you thought it was the rabbit!) for it's prolific ability to mate. Through observation and experimentation, they noticed the deer's constant tendency to wriggle it's anus. If you've ever seen a deer then you probably have noticed this behavior yourself. They concluded that the deer's anal movements were used to strengthen and stimulate the sex organs, anus and related hormones.

Practicing The Deer Exercise

The Deer Exercise can transform a man's sexual ability, add length and thickness to the penis naturally (by increased blood flow and energy circulation) and strengthen the body's sex organs that relate to improved performance. There are a few important things that you should be aware of when performing this technique.

Controlling Erection

If an erection occurs while practicing this exercise, place the thumb of the hand cupping the testicles at the base of the penis next to the pubis and press down sharply, while massaging the are of the pubis with the other hand. This will inhibit the flow of blood into the penis and maximize the build-up of energy within the sexual glands. It is important to avoid ejaculation directly following this exercise as this dissipates the energy which has begun to build as a consequence of this exercise.

Maintaining Proper Hygiene

Proper sexual hygiene must be practiced in conjunction with this exercise. It is important to keep the pubic and anal areas clean at all times. These areas are normally shielded from sunlight and they can easily become a breeding ground for bacteria, infection, disease and cancers.

In Closing

Taoist sexual exercises are both powerful and effective. They were developed over thousands of years and require patience and dedication. Remember to begin slowly and gently. After some practice a greater intensity can be achieved in a natural and comfortable progression.

As just a word of caution, it is a mistake to practice this set quickly. It's effects are realized over longer periods of time with diligence and regularity. The greater the concentration the greater the end result.

** The Taoist practices and techniques covered here are presented as information only. It is not intended as medical advice. If you have a problem you should seek the advice of a qualified physician. This exercise is not to be used by anyone under the age of 18. People under 18 years of age are still experiencing rapid growth and hormonal changes and the regular practice of this or any sexual exercise may be harmful.

In the opening section of the "Yellow Emporer's Classic of Internal Medicine," the Emporer tells the court physician:

"In ancient times there were those known as Immortal Beings. They stood between heaven and earth, connecting the universe.
They understood and were able to control both Yin and Yang, the two fundamental principles of nature.
They inhaled the vital essence of life.
They remained unmoving in their spirit.
Their muscles and flesh were as one.
This is the way of the Tao… the way you are looking for."

In future articles we will examine many more of the different Qigong (Chi Gung) techniques used to increase ones sexual ability, stamina and health.

When performed properly, the following Taoist sexual exercise works to strengthen the nerve endings around the pubis and penis. It may be used to correct sexual problems such as impotence and premature ejaculation. Contraction of the anal muscles will also help enlarge the head or bulb of the penis by increasing blood flow. This will enhance the pleasurable sensations felt during regular intercourse. It may be done either standing, sitting, or lying down and is best performed without clothing. It should be practiced in the morning upon rising and before retiring at night.

Stage One:

The purpose of this stage is to increase semen production.

Rub the palms of your hands together quickly. This will create heat in your hands which is necessary for obtaining maximum results. Using cold hands will have the opposite effect and drain the energy from the testicles.

With your right hand, cup your testicles so that they are completely covered by the palm of your hand. Do not squeeze. Just a slight pressure and the heat from your hand should be felt.

Place the palm of your left hand on the area of your pubis, one inch below your navel.

With a slight pressure so that a gentle warmth begins to build in the area of your pubis, move your left hand in clockwise or counter-clockwise circles eighty-one times.

Rub your hands quickly together again.

Reverse the position of your hands so that your left hand cups your testicles and your right hand is on your pubis. Repeat the circular rubbing motion in the opposite direction another eighty-one times. Concentrate on what you are doing and feel the warmth grow. For all Taoist exercises, it is very important (even necessary) that you concentrate on the purpose of the physical motions. Doing this will enhance the results and bring full power to your purpose.

Upon completion, close your hands gently into a fist with the thumbs on the inside, the tip of the thumb touching the crease of the "ring finger." This is done to prevent the loss of energy through the palms.

Stage Two:

Tighten the muscles around your anus and draw them up and in. If this is done properly it will feel as if air is being drawn up your rectum, or as if your entire anal area is being drawn inward and upward. Tighten as hard as you can and hold as long as your are able to do so comfortably.

Stop and relax for a moment.

Repeat the anal contractions. Do this as many times as you can without feeling discomfort. At first you may find that you are only able to hold the anal sphincter muscles tight for a few seconds. Do not let this discourage you and please persist. After several weeks you will be able to hold the muscles tight for quite a while without experiencing weariness or strain.

As you do the second stage of the exercise, you should concentrate on feeling a tingling sensation (similar to an electric current) ascend along the pathway of the spine. The sensation lasts for only fractions of a second and occurs naturally. You should not try to force this with mental imagery.

Do not underestimate the importance of this powerful exercise as a means to strengthen the male sexual organs and the enormous value it brings to maintaining health and vitality. It is to be performed with relaxed concentration to combine the full force of the mind and body. With consistent practice you will see noticeable improvement.

The ancient Taoist monks were deliberate and exacting in their methods. They experimented with everything in their quest to promote lasting health and prolong life. If they found something that worked, they used it and applied it to their teachings. If it did not work, it was discarded.

The term "Tao" is defined as meaning "The Natural Way." The ancient Taoist philosophy grew out of a desire to prolong life – in short, it was a quest for achieving immortality. It wasn't until many centuries later that it grew into the religion that exists today.

The original Taoist's teachings primary concern was with the preservation of health and the prolonging of life. The methods they developed led to the creation of the Chinese system of Qigong (pronounced Chi Gung) which means "energy exercises." These advanced techniques were soon extended to sexual enhancement based on the belief that male semen was the source of Chi (energy) and life itself.

The first known references to these sexual exercises dates back to the teachings of Huang Ti (commonly known as the "Yellow Emporer") called, "The Yellow Emporer's Classic of Internal Medicine" (Huang Ti Nei Ching) believed to have been written nearly 6,000 years ago. Huang Ti is considered to be one of the founding fathers of ancient Taoist philosophy.

Naturally Enhancing The Sexual Organs

Taoism was the first philosophy to take human sexuality fully into account and to present it in such a way that people could transform themselves using their use own sexual energy. Specific exercises were created to strengthen and enhance the sexual organs in order to counter the normal energy-depleting effects of having sex. These methods work to increase blood circulation in the abdomen which in turn transports nutrients and energy carried in the semen throughout the entire body.

Some exercises help to improve ejaculation control, increase semen output and prolong sexual intercourse. This is made possible by strengthening the prostate and generating and balancing secretions of the endocrine (hormonal) glands.

During ordinary intercourse the prostate swells with semen to maximize size before ejaculating. During ejaculation, the prostate shoots out its contents in a series of contractions and sexual intercourse ends. With nothing left to ejaculate, induce contractions, or maintain an erection, a man cannot continue to have sex. When specific exercises are practiced, semen can be pumped out of the prostate in small doses to other glands and blood vessels and intercourse can be prolonged.

Strengthening The Prostate

Success with this type of exercise is achieved by strengthening the anal muscles and rectum. As people grow older, the anal opening tends to become loose. This is caused by the loss of nerve-use that controls the anus and results in serious bowel problems. Anal muscles which have atrophied and become weak create an environment for diseases such as hemorrhoids and prostate cancer. Exercising and keeping these muscles strong is therefore crucial to a person's health.

The prostate, which lies between the anal muscles and the scrotum is exercised and strengthened by contracting the sphincter muscles. This action helps to prevent or even reverse many diseases associated with the prostate.

Enhanced Sexual Ability

The ancient Taoist technique which we will cover next is used to build up a man's sexual ability and enable him to prolong intercourse for as long as he wishes. It should be noted that those practicing these powerful techniques often experience an increase in sexual energy. The common tendency is therefore to increase the quantity of sex. As with all things however, when taken to excess, this can lead to weakness and depletion of energy. Leading a normal and active sex life requires replacing the energy which was lost.

In the upcoming article we will look at step by step instructions for one particular Taoist sexual exercise. When used properly, this technique will help to build up energy reserves within the body, increase semen output and improve one's overall sexual ability.
