Can you cause an infection with oral intercourse?

I am unable to have oral intercourse with my boyfriend

because he says that he gets an infection whenever I do

it to him. Can this actually happen? If so what is it

called?

If either you or your partner have a history of STIs

(sexually transmitted infections) then it is possible to

transfer it between yourselves. Herpes for example can

be spread via oral transmission even if the symptoms are

not visible and a flare up is not occurring. I suggest

you consult a doctor who will be better able to diagnose

the condition and prescribe a course of action.
